Phillauri Movie

Anushka the ghost has her issues too. She has been dead from few decades but still she hasn’t figured out why her love story back in those days didn’t worked out with the man of her dreams role played by Diljit Dosanjh. Diljit takes the movie himself back and forth between today’s time and the pre-Independence era.

Movie is directed by Anshai Lal, it has few nifty songs too. From Dum Dum to Sahiba or the rap-happy Naughty Billo, the songs keep the film moving. Anushka’s ghost wear white saree, candle-wielding spirits of Indian cinema. She is feisty and that comes across in how she is depicted too.

Phillauri Movie Review

Phillauri movie has been made to let the world know that this friendly ghost is meant to be watched by families with little kids. The flashback portions of the film have been shot with sepia-toned quality. The script is little slow and the film takes its time to get into the spirit of things.
