Presently in India, Triumph Motorcycles sells only one model in the company’s Tiger Explorer range which named as Triumph Tiger Explorer XC.

Specifications of 2017 Triumph Tiger Explorer Engine
The 2017 Triumph Tiger Explorer model fitted with a 1215cc, the triple cylinder engine mated to 6-speed transmission set up. The motorcycle generates power and torque output of 135 bhp and 121 Nm. The new upcoming model produces a maximum power of 137 bhp and the peak torque of 123 Nm.
The company said that the new model will meet the stricter Euro-IV emission norms which will automatically obedient to BS-IV standards. The Engine gets riding modes which are Rain, Road and Off- Road and it is also enabled with ride by wire technology.
Features of 2017 Triumph Tiger Explorer
The new Triumph Tiger Explorer is the addition of Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). The instrument has sensors placed at particular positions that detect the motion of the motorcycle and calculate the lean angles. After this, IMU informs the ABS (anti-lock braking system) and traction control to work appropriately.
Also, 2017 Triumph Tiger Explorer has torque assist clutch and semi active suspension system. The model comes with cruise control, adjustable windscreen, engine immobilizer, handlebar position and seat height, self-cancelling indicators and much more.

The current generation Triumph Tiger Explorer retail at a price of INR 18.75 lakh. The new 2017 model will be more than the current model price. Because the motorcycle is the premium over and has more features.
